Wappinger Family Fun Day Committee Presents $4,700 in Charitable Donations
On July 16th, leaders of Wappinger Family Fun Day met at New Hackensack Fire Department to present $4,700 in charitable donations thanks to this year's 6th Annual event which was held on May 17th. This year's recipients were The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and New Hackensack Fire Company. Presenting checks to each of these organizations were Dr. Howard Brown of Brown Chiropractic Associates and Tina Cogan of The Enchanted Forest Daycare and Learning Center. Accepting checks were Captain Tony Marquez of New Hackensack Fire Company and the staff from the LLS.
The WFFD staff would like to thank all of local area businesses and organizations that helped contribute to another fun-filled and exciting day.
