On June 2nd, local area businesses got together to sponsor the 5th Annual Wappinger Family Fun Day. It was a very hot one, however it didn't deter supporters from coming out and it looks like the fundraiser for The Wappinger Challenger League and New Hackensack Fire Company will be very successful. The WFFD Committee would like to thank all of our sponsors that supported the event as well as everyone that came out to enjoy a day of fun. A special thanks to the Two by Two Petting Zoo for coming out last minute with some great animals for everyone to hold and pet, as well as the Dutchess County Emergency Response for sending their mascot 911 Ready Fox to join in the festivities.
