Wappinger Family Fun Day - Wappingers Falls, New York

Each year, area businesses and community service groups participate in our annual Wappinger Family Fun Day. The event takes place at New Hackensack Fire Department from 11am - 4pm. The day is dedicated to health, safety and environmental issues that effect individuals and our community as a whole.

As a local chiropractor, I have spent much of my time both inside and outside Brown Chiropractic Associates helping children. My father started this office over 35 years ago. Looking back to when I was a child in this area, I see that I have so much to be grateful for from this practice and its surrounding community. It is for these reasons that I have chosen to team up with Enchanted Forest Daycare and Learning Center and New Hackensack Fire Department to sponsor this event for the benefit of the children in Wappingers Falls.

During this event, we distribute essential information on crime prevention, child safety and environmental awareness issues. The Dutchess County Sheriff provides free child ID cards and finger printing for all children who attend. The New Hackensack Fire Department supports the event by providing a location as well as fire safety tips. Alamo Ambulance Service provides child safety seat inspections and child safety tips. There is also media coverage by radio and newspaper.

In addition, my office offers free spinal exams and scoliosis screenings and distributes essential information on disease prevention and health promotion. There are special appearances from New Hackensack's "Sparky and Pumper" and the Hudson Valley Renegades mascots "Rookie" and "Renee". We will also provide free balloons, giveaways and hold prize drawings every half-hour.

We would like to request your financial support for this worthwhile endeavor. We know that you value the future health and prosperity of our children as much as we do and your contribution will help us to help the children. In addition, we invite you to setup a booth at the event to promote your services that can benefit families and their children. In this way, we can support each others professional services as we engage in a cooperative effort that benefits our entire community. All remaining proceeds are donated to organizations or charities that benefit children's health and safety.

With favorable weather at past events, we have attracted more than 1,000 people! The fee for sponsorship is merely $200. This entitles your business to a table at the event where you can reach out to the community. If you sign up before April 8th, your business will also be printed on our annual flyer as a premier sponsor, which is distributed at schools and businesses from around the area.
